This all-American program features Barber’s emotionally stirring Adagio for Strings as well as Hanson’s Second Symphony. Adams’ lively and sometimes shocking Chamber Symphony marries a large symphonic work with a smaller chamber format featuring fifteen talented Phoenix Symphony musicians.
