Parties of Note
Chairman: Molly DeFilippis
The Phoenix Symphony is delighted to present a new program to benefit the Annual Fund and invite you to join us at some of this season’s most highly anticipated events.
Each year, Parties of Note will present magnificent private homes and spaces featuring world class art collections, stunning views, and beautiful gardens.
Each party will also feature a private recital by a Phoenix Symphony musician(s). We hope you will join your fellow Symphony family members at these special events. Each party is generously underwritten by its hosts, allowing all proceeds from Parties of Note to benefit the Annual Fund. This all-important fund enables the Symphony to present audiences in Phoenix and around the state with the finest in classical music.
We look forward to seeing you at this special inaugural Parties of Note season!

Historic El Chorro Lodge
Hosted by Jacquie Dorrance, Tim & Kristy Moore
Enjoy a beautiful evening at the landmark El Chorro Lodge, with its stunning front archway and an array of dazzling new features that have modernized the iconic restaurant and lodge without sacrificing the historic charm that made it a favorite of Clark Gable, Milton Berle, Frank Lloyd Wright and other prominent figures in it heyday.
Originally built as the Judson School for Girls, developed by John C. Lincoln in 1934 so his daughter Lillian could attend school, the school was converted to a restaurant and lodge in 1937. In 2010,
Valley philanthropist Jacquie Dorrance and operating partners Kristy and Tim Moore completely revamped and revitalized the property, embracing 21st Century ideals through the use of existing resources and sustainable practices.
