The Phoenix Symphony offers the following special opportunities for students, age 8 and up, to attend a Symphony concert and were developed to assist music teachers in providing after-school musical experiences.
Student Groups (advance purchase) Student groups of 10 or more save 50% off regular ticket prices for many of our Classics and Pops concerts when ordered in advance through our Group Sales office.
STUDENT ACCESS TICKET PROGRAM (limited availability) Through this special program, chaperoned student groups (middle and high school) of 10 or more can experience the thrill of The Phoenix Symphony Thursday and Saturday evening, and Sunday afternoon Classics Concerts at Symphony Hall for just $5 per ticket. Tickets must be purchased in advance through our Group Sales office and groups will be assessed a $6.00 handling fee for each order. Student Discounts (advance purchase) Students under 18 and full-time college students with a current valid Student ID can receive a 25% discount on advance tickets to Phoenix Symphony concerts (except select special event presentations and Family concerts). To purchase a ticket in advance, show your current valid Student ID at The Phoenix Symphony Box Office in the Arizona Center. Students may only purchase one discounted ticket per Student ID per concert.
Student Rush Tickets (day-of concert) Beginning one hour prior to Phoenix Symphony concerts (except select special event presentations and our Family concerts), full-time students can purchase a ticket for just $10 (based on availability). To purchase a ticket, show your current valid Student ID at the Symphony Hall box office beginning one hour prior to each concert. Students may only purchase one discounted ticket per Student ID per concert. Community Ticket Programs The Phoenix Symphony is committed to making our musical performances available to as many people as possible. Money-saving offers include our annual season subscription ticket packages, as well as a range of student, senior, and group discount programs.
Musically Speaking PRE-CONCERT CONVERSATIONS "Musically Speaking" pre-concert discussions begin one hour prior to every Classics concert (Thursday and Saturday evenings and Friday mornings). Using an informal half-hour format, our moderator interviews a guest artist or a member of the Symphony. The week's music is discussed, and the audience is invited to ask questions. This series of "Musically Speaking" Pre-Concert Conversations is free to all ticket holders for each respective concert.
