Michael Krajewski leads the Phoenix Symphony in Cirque de la Symphonie

PHOENIX, AZ – (January 21, 2011) The Phoenix Symphony continues its 2010/11 APS Pops Series when the circus meets the Symphony in Cirque de la Symphonie on February 25-27 at Symphony Hall.

Audience favorite Michael Krajewski and The Phoenix Symphony will act as a backdrop for acrobat, contortionists, jugglers and strongmen. The performers are veteran world record holders and gold medal winners who perform to the music of classical masterpieces and popular contemporary music.

Mr. Krajewski has performed with the Boston Pops, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra as well as symphonies across the United States. He led Edmonton and Winnipeg symphonies as well as the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Canada. Krajewski has performed internationally with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, Iceland Symphony Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra in concerts in Belfast and Dublin. This magical show will amaze and delight as these veteran world record holders and gold medal winners perform their spectacular human feats while The Phoenix Symphony dazzles with their own fireworks.

“Cirque de la Symphonie,” sponsored by St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center, will be held at Symphony Hall on February 25 8:00 pm, February 26 at 2:30 pm & 8:00 p.m., and February 27 at 2:00 p.m.
