The sounds of bluegrass fill Symphony Hall as the classically-trained and bluegrass-loving
Time for Three perform Jennifer Higdon’s unique concerto. The Phoenix premiere of this
Unique crossover concerto is paired with Rachmaninoff’s stirring Symphonic Dances,
a thrill for Phoenix audiences.

spin on the musical roulette wheel with hip classics such as Luck Be A Lady, Hey Big
Spender, Viva Las Vegas, My Way and The Lady Is A Tramp just to name a few. The
music, the celebrities, the show girls and the city will all be musically honored in this
fast-paced, jackpot evening of musical hit after hit. Just remember, ‘What happens in
the concert hall stays in the concert hall!’

on several of today’s up-and-coming young musicians. These talented kids will share
what can be done with a little practice, an instrument and a whole lot of inspiration.
Pre-concert Activities (1:30 p.m.): Motivate your child to play music! French horns, saxophones, percussion and more will be available to play as The Phoenix Symphony sponsors the biggest Instrument Petting Zoo of the season.
