PHOENIX (January 17, 2025) – The Phoenix Symphony’s cherished annual community event, Savor the Symphony luncheon, offers guests the experience to eavesdrop on a Phoenix Symphony rehearsal and enjoy a specially curated luncheon by an award-winning local chef. This unique event takes place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Symphony Hall. As one of the Symphony’s signature events, this event has consistently sold out in previous years, making it a highly anticipated occasion.
Proceeds from the luncheon will support the Symphony’s mission to provide extraordinary musical experiences that inspire and advance our community, enriching the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds.
This year’s luncheon will be curated by local chef Christopher Collins, CEO/Owner and Executive Chef for Common Ground Culinary, whose restaurants include Collins Brothers Public House, Grassroots Kitchen & Tap, Wally’s American Gastropub, Sweet Provisions, The Collins Small Batch Kitchen, The Macintosh, The Neighborly and Arcadia Catering Company. Christopher’s menu is sure to offer a culinary experience to complement the extraordinary musical performance.
Attendees will meet guest artist Tamika Lawrence, Phoenix native and vocalist for Simply the Best, guest Phoenix Pops conductor and local favorite Stuart Chafetz, along with Musicians of your very own Phoenix Symphony.
This year’s Savor the Symphony is chaired by Jenny Holsman Tetreault, a business and community leader who also serves on the Symphony’s Board of Directors. The event will be emceed by nationally syndicated radio host Dana Cortez and this year’s live auction, benefiting Symphony programs, will be hosted by Anna Aja, a third-generation auctioneer and advocate for the Phoenix Symphony.
“Savor the Symphony is an amazing experience that combines exceptional music, delicious cuisine, and the company of wonderful friends,” said Peter Kjome, Phoenix Symphony President and CEO. “This exciting event helps the Symphony enrich lives as one of our state’s most important cultural assets. With the generous support of our community, our orchestra serves as a source of inspiration, joy, and connection, including our community engagement and education programs that reach more than 100,000 people each year.”
