FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 14, 2017

The Phoenix Symphony takes over McArthur Ballroom for a magical night of music, dancing, and merriment

(PHOENIX) – Ring in the New Year with The Phoenix Symphony! One of the Valley’s cherished social events returns in celebration of the Symphony’s 70th Anniversary. On New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2017, The Anniversary Gala: 70 Never Sounded So Good will take place in the Arizona Biltmore’s McArthur Ballroom in Phoenix. Celebrate the New Year in style with a once in a lifetime opportunity to dance to the full Symphony orchestra, under the direction of Guest Conductor Stuart Chafetz.

The evening’s activities begin at 8 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner prepared by the Arizona Biltmore. Chaired by Jeff and Leslie Rich, the program includes a tribute to past Phoenix Symphony Board of Directors, including the event’s Honorary Chair, Jeanne Herberger, for her nearly five decades of leadership and support of the organization. The JJ’s Band will provide entertainment as a warm up to The Phoenix Symphony’s performance, and dancing and a champagne toast round out the festivities. The event will include several exclusive raffle items including a custom-designed necklace made of diamonds and sapphires valued at $15,000.

Tickets for The Anniversary Gala: 70 Never Sounded So Good are $750 per person or $7,000 for a table of ten. Gala co-chairs Jeff and Leslie Rich, along with the entire Gala Committee, promise a spectacular evening that remains the only such event to feature live music played by a full symphony orchestra. Guests are invited to extend the celebration with special overnight rates offered by the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa.

Proceeds help support the general operating needs of The Phoenix Symphony, a 503(c)(3) nonprofit entity.

Major sponsorship opportunities are available at both the corporate and individual level for the Gala at $25,000 and $50,000 and each include significant benefits and recognition. Table hosting and advertising opportunities for the Gala program book are also available. More details and a sponsorship package can be requested from Louann Phillips at 602-452-0423 or [email protected].
