Coming up at The Phoenix Symphony in the month of September

Opening Night! – Tito Muñoz conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9

  • Who: Virginia G. Piper Music Director Tito Muñoz leads The Phoenix Symphony, The Phoenix Symphony Chorus and talented guest artists.
  • What: Join Maestro Muñoz in this grand and famed program as he leads The Phoenix Symphony in Beethoven’s most celebrated and final masterpiece, Symphony No. 9, featuring the famous “Ode to Joy.” This Opening Night program also features American Symphony by Adam Schoenberg. Tickets start at $18.
  • When & Where: September 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Symphony Hall in downtown Phoenix
  • Media Availability: Media is invited to attend dress rehearsal September XX at 10:00 a.m.  Email [email protected] to arrange for credentials in advance. Interviews are available on request.

Super Heroes

  • Who: Newly appointed Assistant Conductor Matthew Kasper leads The Phoenix Symphony.
  • What: Put on your best cape and get ready for the iconic music from your favorite super hero films and television shows, including Batman, Superman, Captain American, The Incredibles, X-Men and many more! Patrons of all ages are invited to come dressed as their favorite super hero. Remember to arrive an hour early for pre-concert activities. Tickets start at $11.
  • When & Where: September 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Symphony Hall.
