Bask in the beauty of Ottorino Respighi’s symphonic tone poems Fountains of Rome and Pines of Rome. The program also features Verdi’s powerful Overture to La forza del destinyThe Force of Destiny, and the world premiere of Symphony No. 5 by Daron Hagen, recipient of the 2014 American Academy of Arts and Letters Award, a work commissioned specifically for performance by The Phoenix Symphony Commissioning Club.
