Greater Phoenix Chamber: The Phoenix Symphony Presents Savor the Symphony: Disco Divas

January 8, 2026

PHOENIX –The Phoenix Symphony’s cherished annual community event, Savor the Symphony, returns with a vibrant new theme: Disco Divas. This signature fundraiser offers guests the rare opportunity to observe a Phoenix Symphony working rehearsal and enjoy a specially curated luncheon by a celebrated local chef. The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 19 at Symphony Hall. One of the Symphony’s most popular annual traditions, Savor the Symphony has consistently sold out in previous years.

Proceeds from the luncheon will support the Symphony’s Community Engagement and Education programs, which reach thousands of students, patients and community members across the Valley through school performances, hospital visits, music-integrated learning and other outreach initiatives.

This year’s luncheon will feature a menu created by Chef Stephani O’Connor, who leads culinary development for Fox Restaurant Concepts and previously served as director of culinary at Torchy’s Tacos. With more than 20 years in the restaurant industry, O’Connor is known for recipe development, team leadership and creating memorable guest experiences.

Attendees will enjoy an exclusive look inside a working rehearsal for Disco Divas, a high-energy program celebrating the iconic sounds and artists of the disco era. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear directly from Phoenix Symphony musicians and artistic staff, offering insight into the artistic process and the impact of community support.

This year’s Savor the Symphony luncheon is chaired by Cathy Stein and Meghan Cox, both dedicated community leaders and supporters of the arts. Stein is president of Concorde Travel Management and has held leadership roles with several Arizona nonprofits, including Florence Crittenton of Arizona and the Glacier National Park Conservancy. Cox is CEO of Impact Advocacy Group and Groundgame Political Solutions and has managed public engagement and community initiatives nationwide, serving on boards including the Hugh O’Brien Youth Foundation and Valley Leadership.

“Savor the Symphony brings our community together around musical excellence, exceptional cuisine, and shared passion for the arts,” said Peter Kjome, Phoenix Symphony President and CEO. “Support from this annual event enables us to enrich lives through music, including more than 100,000 students and other Arizonans each year as part of our Community Engagement & Education programs.”

Tables and tickets are limited, and the event is expected to sell out. Guests are encouraged to secure tickets, tables or sponsorships while availability remains.
