Dr. Jeremy Peterman, La Casa de Cristo’s organist and pianist, is active in the Phoenix Valley as a teacher, performer, and vocal coach. While attaining his doctorate, Dr. Jeremy Peterman has played for numerous Arizona Opera productions as well as under the baton of Michael Christie of the Phoenix Symphony in Igor Stravinsky’s Petrushka, John Adams’ On the Transmigration of Souls, and Osvaldo Golijov’s Ainadamar.

In 2016, he completed his final summer as a staff pianist at the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria. He worked there every summer since 2003, eventually becoming the director of the AIMS staff pianists during his time there. Dr. Peterman was also the organist and director of church-music since 2005, performing with singers during the summer in many churches in and around Graz.

He was previously a piano professor at Arizona Christian University and a member of the educational opera troupe OperAntics. Dr. Jeremy Peterman continues his work as principal pianist for Chandler Children’s Choir. Jeremy is married to Rachel and they have one son, Henry.
