Phoenix Symphony receives donation from Cox Charities

The Phoenix Symphony is pleased to have been selected to receive a $10,000 donation from Cox Charities. Since its inception in 1996, Cox Charities Arizona has awarded nearly $9million in grants to non-profit organizations for programs that help those in need in our local communities. Cox Charities AZ has funded local non-profits that focus on education, diversity and environment & sustainability.

“Cox Charities is committed to supporting programs in our state that provide vital programming,”said Susan Anable, Vice President of Public Affairs for Cox Communications. “As we have for many years, Cox Charities supports the communities in which we do business and is a commitment made by all of us from the Cox family, together with the 3,100 Arizona employees.”

The generous donation from Cox Charities supports The Phoenix Symphony’s Mind Over Music program that uses music-integrated instruction to teach STEM concepts to Title 1 students in a classroom setting.
