PHOENIX (May 8, 2025) – The Phoenix Symphony is thrilled to announce its premier annual fundraising event, the 2025 Phoenix Symphony Gala, taking place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Symphony Hall followed by a celebration at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. This extraordinary evening will feature an exclusive performance with the Phoenix Symphony and legendary composer Danny Elfman, celebrating the iconic music from Tim Burton’s most beloved films.
“I am thrilled to co-chair the Phoenix Symphony Gala as it is a community collaboration to celebrate the fabulous musicians, while recognizing the Phoenix Symphony’s contributions to economic development, educational and cultural enrichment, and many other initiatives that enhance the quality of life in the Valley of the Sun,” said Julie Pace.
“Co-chairing this year’s Gala is a true privilege,” said Rick McCartney. “The Phoenix Symphony is more than a musical institution—it’s a driving force for creativity, education, and growth in the Valley, and this event is a powerful tribute to that impact.”
The 2025 Gala promises a magical evening of world-class music, fine dining, dancing, fun surprises, and a rare chance to experience Danny Elfman’s iconic compositions performed live with your Phoenix Symphony. Elfman, an acclaimed composer and former lead singer of Oingo Boingo, has scored over 100 films since 1985. At the Gala, he will perform music from his celebrated collaboration with Tim Burton, featuring unforgettable scores from Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, and Batman.
Sponsorship and table opportunities are available now. Tickets will be released to the general public in early June 2025.
