Salt River Project Sponsors Preludes Series for 2024/25 Season

Salt River Project (SRP) will sponsor The Phoenix Symphony’s Preludes series for the 2024-25 season. Preludes are pre-concert events designed to enrich the concert experience by engaging audiences in musical activities and background information relevant to the concert they are attending. SRP has been the Preludes sponsor since its inception at the beginning of the 2022-23 season.

For more than 30 years, SRP has generously supported many of The Phoenix Symphony’s concerts and community engagement programs. SRP’s corporate contributions ensure that nonprofits have the resources they need to support the members of our community who need it most.

SRP has been delivering reliable and affordable water and power since 1903. It all started with ranchers, farmers and the construction of Theodore Roosevelt Dam. The ranchers and farmers who lived in the area pledged their own land to get the dam built as a way to tame the raging waters of the Salt River. They formed the Salt River Valley Water Users’ Association, the founding group of SRP.

By providing these essential resources for more than a century, SRP helps the Phoenix metropolitan area develop and thrive. SRP’s guiding principles have remained the same since its founding: to act in the best interest of the communities it serves and strive to help build a better future for Arizona.

The Phoenix Symphony is extremely grateful for SRP’s generosity in supporting this exciting pre-concert engagement program.
