Concerts, Company & Conversations with Coffee
Special Introductory Opening Day Offer, $15 One-Time-Only
PHOENIX (September 23, 2025) – Back by popular demand, The Phoenix Symphony’s Coffee Classics return for the 2025/26 Season, offering audiences a Friday morning filled with music, connection, and conversation. These intimate, 90-minute performances are designed to bring audiences closer to the heart of the music in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Begin your morning at Symphony Hall with complimentary coffee, warm company, and engaging storytelling from conductors and musicians. Each performance weaves together live symphonic music with behind-the-scenes insights creating a unique, educational, and inspiring concert experience.
LAUNCH OFFER: To kick off the season, tickets for Opening Weekend Coffee Classics, Friday, October 3, 11:00 are just $15—an introductory price designed to welcome both longtime supporters and new friends into the Symphony experience.
“Coffee Classics gives us the chance to take time with the audience and share what we love most about this music,” said Magdalena Martinic-Jercic, Associate Concertmaster, John and Ellen Ford Chair. “I think the community will really enjoy how personal and interactive these concerts feel. You’re not just hearing the music, you’re discovering it with us.”
When asked what type of concert experience patrons wanted, they overwhelmingly requested a more educational format, something that lifts the curtain on the music while keeping the performance at the center. This season’s storytelling approach was designed in direct response, giving audiences the chance to learn more about the works being performed, the composers, and the musicians themselves.
Friday Morning Coffee Classics Format
· 10:00 AM – Lobby doors open
· 10:30 AM – Hall doors open
· 11:05 AM – Performance begins
· 12:35 PM – Performance ends / Q&A begins
Coffee Classics are not rehearsals—they are fully produced concerts presented through an educational lens, designed to foster deeper connection and dialogue between conductors, musicians, and audiences. It’s a chance to lift the curtain and bring patrons closer to the music in a dynamic and personal way.
