Gifts of appreciate stock are easily transferable and count as a tax-deductible gift. Follow these instructions to donate via gifts of stock.

A Qualified Charitable Distribution is a tax-free donation from an IRA to a qualified charity. QCDs can help reduce required minimum distributions (RMDs) and taxable income. Who can make a QCD?

  • Individuals who are at least 70 1/2 years old
  • Married couples who can each contribute up to $108,000 per year

Check to see if your employer offers a matching gift program which allows you to double your gift. Donate and keep your receipt, fill out your company’s Gift Matching Form and email or mail it to us. Your company will send it’s matching donation directly to the Phoenix Symphony. Contact [email protected] for more information.

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is an investment account that is used for charitable giving. Donor-advised funds are considered the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the United States. DAFs can be relatively inexpensive to create and maintain, while also offering donors some ability to manage their tax situation through giving.

It is composed of donations made by individuals and administered by a third party. The third party is called the sponsoring organization. A donor-advised fund offers an immediate tax relief and allows you to support your favorite charities immediately or over time.
