The Phoenix Symphony will host sing-along worthy, fan-favorite concerts to celebrate both the music of ABBA and Queen.

The Ultimate ABBA Tribute will include favorites such as “Mamma Mia,” “Dancing Queen,” “SOS” and The Music of Queen will feature “We Will Rock You,” “We Are The Champions” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The show is part of the Symphony’s APS Pop Series at Symphony Hall.

There will be three ABBA tribute shows: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9; 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11 inside Symphony Hall, 75 N. 2nd St., in downtown Phoenix.

Finnish vocal group Rajaton brings the music of ABBA with guest conductor Stuart Chafetz leading the six-voice acapella ensemble backed by the power of The Phoenix Symphony.

Then, in the history of rock music, few groups have made a bigger splash than Queen.

One of the best-selling musical artists of all time, with record sales of nearly 300 million, the British group’s performance at the 1985 Live Aid concert, just a few years before the death of lead singer Freddie Mercury, is considered one of the greatest shows ever staged. Relive the magic with “The Music of Queen.” Conductor, arranger, and producer Brent Havens leads a cast of rockers and The Phoenix Symphony in classic songs.

The “Music of Queen” performance starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at Arizona Financial Theater, 400 W. Washington St., in Phoenix.
