Jazz legend George Benson won’t have far to travel when he performs this week at Mesa Arts Center.
Benson has lived for the past decade in Paradise Valley for what he calls his “semiretirement.” On Wednesday, Jan. 21, he’ll play guitar and croon some of his crossover hits (most likely including some Nat King Cole covers) backed by the Phoenix Symphony.
