Backstage moment
Steven Spielberg and Gerda Weissmann Klein connect backstage at a Sept. 28 Phoenix Symphony benefit. Spielberg was the special guest at a concert that featured renowned composer John Williams conducting the symphony in a program of Williams’ film scores. The event raised more than $600,000 for Phoenix Symphony educational programs.
