The Phoenix Symphony’s guest soloist is a Grammy-winning organist here to play French composer Alexandre Guilmant’s Symphony No. 1 for Organ and Orchestra. Maestro Tito Muñoz, in his first season as music director, will be at the podium in a program that kicks off with Beethoven’s overture to “Fidelio” and closes with Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, the last of his prolific career.

4/24: ‘Music of Led Zeppelin’
The Phoenix Symphony rocks out to “Stairway to Heaven” in this concert featuring vocalist Randy Jackson. No, not the “American Idol” judge. This Randy Jackson is frontman for the hard-rock band Zebra and performs the music of Pink Floyd and the Doors with orchestras. (If headbanging isn’t your thing, the Phoenix Symphony follows this concert up with “Legends of Nashville,” featuring tunes by the likes of Hank Williams and Faith Hill.)
