Conductor Tito Muñoz completes his final year with the Phoenix Symphony
Tito Muñoz completes his tenth a final season with Phoenix Symphony. He leaves behind a long legacy of enhancing Arizona’s Phoenix Symphony and its many education programs. Muñoz will not leave the Symphony completely but rather focus on working as an artistic partner.
Looking back on his ten years, Muñoz recalls joining the Phoenix Symphony because of its educational opportunities and programs and the vast outreach the community does. He finds that integrating new work into every show is very important in allowing composers to show off their art.
After his time with the Phoenix Symphony Tito Muñoz recalls that even in the hardest times, like the 2020 pandemic, he saw how tight-knit the community is and how ready they are to embrace new technology.
